MEETING AND TEAM 

TASK MANAGEMENT

This workshop is designed to give participants the essential tools to initiate and manage sessions. Participants will learn planning and leading techniques that will provide them with the confidence to run a meeting that will engage the attendees, leave a positive and lasting impression and, increase productivity.

 
Meeting and Team Task Management

 

The Meeting and Team Task Management workshop will explore how to reduce wasted time and make meetings more efficient. This workshop is designed to give participants the essential tools to initiate and manage sessions. Participants will learn planning and leading techniques that will provide them with the confidence to run a meeting that will engage the attendees, leave a positive and lasting impression and, increase productivity.

 

Three Day Training:

•    Planning and Preparing: how to set clear expectations before a meeting

•    Chairing a meeting and how to engage without losing control and focus  

•    Strategizing and communication tools: how to create an agenda, and set up meeting space

•    How to close a meeting and ensure that the information from the meeting was written to follow up

 

  

Program features:
  • Customization of content to meet community needs

  • Flexible scheduling to support traditional calendars (feasts and food harvesting)

  • In community training; trainers travel to customer sites

Successful Meetings and Time Management:

set clear expectations before a meeting, chair a meeting and engage, strategizing and communication tools, close a meeting and team follow up with clear goals and objectives

 

We will achieve this by:
  • Personal Productivity: Recognize the importance of goal setting and its ability balance emails, meetings and daily tasks with work

  • Time Management: Identify tasks, decide on a goal, break it down into parts, and create a timeline

  • Meeting Management: Establish clear roles and responsibilities to manage meetings effectively

  • Communication: Describe why meetings are an effective way to increase productivity and provide clear guidelines for meeting attendees and objectives
