The Financial Management for Leadership will give participants a solid foundation in how to question items on the financial report, to ensure that decisions are being made appropriately, and in the best interest of the organization.

 
Financial Management for Leadership

  

Understanding how to analyze and interpret financial reports such as ‘income & expense’, ‘cashflow’ and ‘balance sheet’ is a vital skill for everyone responsible for running an organization. Having a solid understanding of basic financial terms and methods is essential for business success. The knowledge of financial terminology will give participants confidence when discussing ROI, EBIT, and, GAAP during budget meetings.

 

The Financial Management for Leadership will give participants a solid foundation in how to question items on the financial report, to ensure that decisions are being made appropriately, and in the best interest of the organization.

  

Four Day Workshop:
  • Identify financial terminology and the legal aspects of finances.

  • Understand budgets, financial statements, advanced forecasting and how to manage the budget.

  • Identify how to analyze financial statements and make smart business decisions.

  • Customization of content to meet community needs

  • Flexible scheduling to support traditional calendars (feasts and food harvesting)

  • In community training; trainers travel to customer sites

  • Terminology: understanding of financial jargon will give participants confidence in finance and budget meetings

  • Understanding: how budgets work as a management team to enhance productivity

  • Analyze: examine financial statements to confidently forecast future budget items and make purchasing decisions 

  • Report: once all the budgets and financial statements have been filled out
